As senior associate on the technical assistance team, Wendy engages with chiefs to examine their students’ needs and help systems develop, implement, and evaluate the impact of programs across a variety of areas.

Wendy has spent more than a decade working in public education, primarily focused on initiatives related to data, research, policy, and advocacy. With prior roles in state and local education systems as well as nonprofit organizations, she has extensive experience developing strategies and processes designed to produce scalable solutions.

Wendy holds a Juris Doctor degree and a certificate in conflict resolution theory and practice from Mitchell Hamline School of Law. In addition, she earned her Ph.D. in public policy from Southern University & A&M College; master’s degrees in both criminal justice and public administration from Penn State University; and a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
